Privacy policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
PromoPlace is operated from Ireland. This policy is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 and the Irish ePrivacy Regulations 2011. The short version: we collect almost nothing, because there is almost nothing to collect.
Who is responsible
PromoPlace is the data controller for any personal data handled through this site. You can reach us at support@promoplace.cloud.
What we collect
This site is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no analytics. We do not ask for or store your name, address, email or payment details. When you buy a product, you pay the vendor directly — we never see your order.
Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request — for security and to keep the site running. Netlify processes these on our behalf under its own privacy policy. We do not use these logs to identify or profile anyone.
If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to answer you and deal with any follow-up, then delete it.
Lawful basis
Where we process any personal data at all — server logs and email — we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website and responding to people who contact us (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no tracking or analytics scripts. That is why there is no cookie banner.
When you click an affiliate link, you leave this site and the marketplace you land on (ClickBank or JVZoo) may set a cookie so that any purchase you make is credited to us. That cookie is set by them, on their domain, under their own privacy policy — not ours:
- ClickBank: clickbank.com/privacy-policy
- JVZoo: jvzoo.com/privacy
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser sends Google a request for the font files, which includes your IP address. Google's policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Sharing and transfers
We do not sell or share personal data. The only third parties that see anything are the processors named above (Netlify, Google Fonts) and the marketplaces you choose to click through to. Some of these are based outside the EEA; where that is the case they rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Email support@promoplace.cloud and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
